In this world, all are working for growth day and night with full effort, invest as much they can. Not even this much only they used to take the help from closers and make all the possible. But most of them are not satisfied with the growth. Sometimes few of them correct all the mistakes that they find. And some of them try to apply a new method or do it in an innovative way too. But after these all, when they look at the result they could not be able to see the satisfactory result. Why? The reason is strength and weakness.
In some cases, we see that few persons used to do another work parallelly and they get a satisfactory result. Why like this? This has done because of strength and weakness. Let’s understand-
What is strengths and weaknesses?
In the world, all humans have habits, some of them are good and some of them are bad. Good habits help us in our work to grow, but bad habits oppose the work to be complete and pull us back.
What is strength?
The quality or the habits which we have that help us to grow or in our work. Like-Not caring about other’s talk, being free mind, believing in work done, etc. These are always push up us to grow.
Not caring about other’s talk means you are not going to spend your time through thinking about others talk. You will be able to focus on your work that will help in being work done soon, which is a sign of growth.
In the job perspective the strength which helps you first and then your job. Strength should not be like which is better for you but not for your job profile.
Weakness: definition of weakness
The habits which we want to leave. But we are unable to leave anyhow, which always pull us back and oppose the work. Like- Smoking, being introvert, getting aggressive soon, etc.
Being introvert always pulls us back. Because be introvert doesn’t allow to share the thought with someone else. Which becomes a burden to the mind and raises difficulties in the work.
When a person gets aggressive lose control over himself and make the condition worst.
How to identifying your weaknesses
When we analyse the habit, we find two things benefit and loss. In some cases, benefits are more than losses that consider as the strength.
If we take the example of “Not caring about other’s talk” you are saving your time. And keeping your mind free to focus on your work. If we talk about the benefits of it, people mostly gossip about the negative things. By caring about other’s talk you will get to know the negative things of you.
But your time is most important which you are saving. And being free from unnecessary thoughts is more important for your work. That’s why Not caring about other’s talk is considered a strength.
How does weakness take place?
With our primary work few more things we used to do. It may be that is for enjoyment or extra earning or our loved one or it may be any good purpose. This secondary work in starting does not affect our primary work. But later it starts affecting.
In starting, “It is not affecting my primary work” with this belief we continue with our secondary too. But our mistake is we never try to review it, this would be the cause of the unsatisfactory result.
Sometimes this secondary work turns into a habit. And we could not be able to leave, in this circumstance, it becomes our weakness.
In some cases, secondary work doesn’t affect the primary work but it utilized most of the time. So, we could not be able to have enough time for the primary one. These types of secondary works indirectly affect the primary. It resulted that we could not be able to get the expected result.
As I have described before it turns into a habit, and this habit becomes our weakness. So, we can’t be able to leave that. In another way we can say it controls us and fixes our limit. But the point is how to avoid these.
How to fix weakness building
Review is the weapon which helps us to control our weakness. We should review our work from time to time, it helps us to scale the result according to our applied efforts.
In case of not reviewing our work. We could not be able to scale results against investments and applied efforts. We could not get to know the side effects, is it good? or bad.
In the case of unknowing the side effects, we can’t control even if it affects the primary. So, from time to time, we should review our work what we are doing. If we control weakness on time, then our primary work stays as primary always. And we could be able to get a satisfactory result.
Instead of this, if our secondary work helps the primary it busts the growth. Sometimes this secondary force to do the primary one. In this case, secondary becomes supplementary of primary work.
How to get expected result
We should always mind that what is the purpose of secondary? If the purpose is to promote primary then do as long as you can. But, if the purpose is different, then we need to review the secondary work. Because till a limit it helps otherwise it becomes the weakness.
So we have to make the secondary work our strength not the weakness. Strength always increases our limit, so we can be able to go beyond. In other words, strength always makes us free and open the ways for us.
After reading this it’s been clear that whatever we are doing apart from our primary that can be our strength or weakness. If we make the strengths that always support us to grow. Instead of this when we make our weakness, which always pulls us back. So make your strength always not the weakness.
